AT LEAST 1,600 law enforcers are to be deployed to ensure peace and order during the celebration of the 30th Kadayawan sa Dabaw Festival this month.
Davao City Police Office (DCPO) spokesperson Senior Inspector Milgrace Driz said DCPO will deploy around 300 personnel while the Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB) of the Police Regional Office (PRO) in Davao will augment this with 100 personnel.
Barangay Peace and Order Units (BPOUs) will provide additional 900 personnel during the Kadayawan celebration, especially in activity areas.
Captain Ernest Carolina, spokesperson for the Task Force Davao, also bared the 10th Infantry Battalion as well as the Philippine Navy will also deploy their own personnel.
“We can deploy 300 personnel from the Task Force Davao as well while the personnel from the Navy will be a reserve force in case an untoward incident will happen,” Carolina said. READ MORE
