POLICIES aim to address various issues confronting the Mindanao business sector will be highlighted during the 24th Mindanao Business Conference (Minbizcon) slated in Dipolog City on September 2-4.
Final list of these policy issues have already been identified and finalized, an official said.
Bench G. Tacumba, project director of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)-Mindanao, told Sun.Star Davao in an interview these final policy issues were derived from various concerns raised during Minbizcon’s roadshows in the cities of General Santos, Davao, Surigao, Cagayan de Oro and Dipolog.
“Among the top issues that will be discussed in this year’s business conference are power development, Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL), improvement of transportation and logistics facilities, K to 12 implementation, conflicting government issuances and regulations and/or policies,” Tacumba said.
