Boholanos form new opposition coalition
Political leaders in Bohol have formed the Bohol United Opposition or Rainbow Coalition that would support the presidential bid of Vice President Jejomar Binay.
The new coalition which claims membership of 27 mayors is led by Second District Rep. ArisAumentado, who bolted out from the Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) to support the standard bearer of the opposition United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).
The group was organized at a resort in Carmen town on March 1 with the presence of lawyer JV Bautista, national secretary of the UNA.
