Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is but a breath away from Senator Grace Poe, only four percentage points behind the perennial top placer, in the latest survey of Pulse Asia.
Duterte (PDP/Laban) scored 24% against the 28% of Poe (Independent) in the survey commissioned by ABS-conducted nationwide from March 1-6, 2016.
Tied at third place are Vice President Jejomar Binay (21%) and former interior secretary Manuel Roxas II (20%).
The top runners each gained two points compared to the February survey where Duterte had 24% and Poe with 26%.
Binay lost 3 points from his 24% in the previous survey. Roxas was one point up from his previous 19%. Miriam Defensor-Santiago’s rating remained unchanged at 3%.
