For the third straight month, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte led with a comfortable margin the February Rappler SMS/Laylo Research Strategies pre-poll survey for presidential preference.
Detailing results of the survey in a March 17 report, Rappler said Duterte “continues his winning streak in the February round of the Rappler SMS poll, maintaining a comfortable lead over his rivals in the presidential race, with 39% of responders choosing him as their bet.”
Duterte, standard bearer of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino/Laban (PDP/Laban), is followed by Mar Roxas (Liberal Party), with 20%; Vice President Jejomar Binay (United Nationalist Alliance), with 16%; Senator Grace Poe (Independent), with 13%; and Senator Miriam Santiago with 5%.
According to Rappler, 47,138 Globe subscribers responded to the SMS poll conducted from February 15 to February 29, 2016.
