In celebration of the 53rd anniversary of National Electrification Administration (NEA) and 13th National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM)
“Teach us to hold sacred the memory of the spring rains that we might have the strength to withstand the heat of the day, and not become parched and narrow in our love. Lead us to accept fatigue with resignation, knowing that life is not to be rushed, that there is no flower of the field that grows from seed to blossom in a single day.”

Northern Davao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NORDECO) together with the 120 electric cooperatives nationwide participates in the simultaneous Line Clearing and Tree Planting, August 25, 2022 in celebration of the 53rd anniversary of National Electrification Administration (NEA) and 13th National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM) celebration with the theme, “NEA at ECs: Magkatuwang sa Pag-unlad at Pagkakaisa Tungo sa Bagong Pag-asa”.
One hundred fifty Mahogany, Narra, and Gemelina provided by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) are planted at Purok 7, San Jose, Monkayo, Davao de Oro lot property owned by NORDECO.

Further, all area services conducted simultaneous line clearing activity. This is also in line with the EC’s campaign for the implementation of RA 11361, which aims to ensure continuous and uninterrupted distribution of power supply through cutting of trees within the power line corridor. In this way, our MCOs will be able to experience continuous usage of electricity.
