NORDECO TOP EXEC NAMED MEMBER OF DAVNOR PNP Provincial Advisory Group

The Philippine National Police (PNP) Davao del Norte Provincial Command has appointed a top executive of the Northern Davao Electric Cooperative inc. (Nordeco) as member of the PNP Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation Development (PAGPTD).

Nordeco, in a statement, congratulated the power coop’s Area 2 Services Department Manager, Demetrio L. Jagunos for his membership in PAGPT, a multi-sectoral advisory body assisting police in the peace and order campaign.

Jagunos was installed as member at the Renewal and Oath-taking of PAGPTD members last September 15,2022 at DNPPO, New Marangal Hall, Tagum City.

NORDECO JOINS nationwide imultaneous Line Clearing and Tree Planting Activity

In celebration of the 53rd anniversary of National Electrification Administration (NEA) and 13th National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM)

Northern Davao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NORDECO) together with the 120 electric cooperatives nationwide participates in the simultaneous Line Clearing and Tree Planting, August 25, 2022 in celebration of the 53rd anniversary of National Electrification Administration (NEA) and 13th National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM) celebration with the theme, “NEA at ECs: Magkatuwang sa Pag-unlad at Pagkakaisa Tungo sa Bagong Pag-asa”.

One hundred fifty Mahogany, Narra, and Gemelina provided by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) are planted at Purok 7, San Jose, Monkayo, Davao de Oro lot property owned by NORDECO.

Further, all area services conducted simultaneous line clearing activity. This is also in line with the EC’s campaign for the implementation of RA 11361, which aims to ensure continuous and uninterrupted distribution of power supply through cutting of trees within the power line corridor. In this way, our MCOs will be able to experience continuous usage of electricity.

Area II- Salvacion, Mawab, Davao de Oro

Area III- Capungagan, Kapalong, Davao del Norte

Area IV- San Jose, Island Garden City of Samal, District II
